It was March 31, 1902 that the Boro of Essex Fells was born. Filled with
historic homes / landmarks, hidden between larger towns is the 1.3 square
miles charming boro. You will not find any traffic lights nor any businesses.
There is however, Egan Field which offers 3 soccer / lacrosse fields, as
well as Essex Fells 18 holes Country Club. Essex Fells has one pediatrician's
office and one elementary school for grades K-6. For grades 7-12 the children
will attend West Essex Regional School located in North Caldwell. Located
just 25 miles from Manhattan you can hop on the one bus in town that will take
you directly into New York Penn Station.
